The best boba and bubble puffs in Pasadena! If you are looking for a fantastic dessert spot or a cozy place to grab a drink near PCC, Bubble Puff & Tea is an absolute gem! This local, women-run business serves some of the highest-quality boba and authentic Hong Kong-style egg waffles in the entire area, all at very reasonable prices compared to other high-end shops.The bubble puffs are an absolute must-try-they take about 10 minutes because they are made completely fresh, but they are totally worth the wait! They are perfectly warm, crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside. You can definitely tell they use premium tea leaves because the drinks are rich, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing without being overly sweet. The house milk tea and their fresh fruit green teas are exceptional, and the boba pearls have the perfect chewy texture. The shop itself is clean, bright, and spacious with free Wi-Fi, making it a great spot to study or hang out with friends. Plus, the staff are always super friendly, welcoming, and quick with orders. There is also a convenient parking lot in the back. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Shared this wonderful tea spot with my lovely wife because I was craving egg waffles and this is one of the best spots to try them. Upon entering, the store was moderately busy, staff said that their kiosk wasn't working due to power outage, no Wi-Fi, thus their entire system wasn't working. For this specific visit only, it was cash only which was understandable because it was a super hot day. Regardless, this time visiting was even better than all the other times I've visited despite the small obstacles. My wife and I ordered the Osmanthus Green Milk Tea & the Taiwan Alpine Milk Tea along with two sets of egg waffles, one original & one matcha filled. Total wait time was about 20 minutes as the egg waffles were made fresh and came out later than the two drinks which came out in about 5 minutes. One thing I never really noticed until this time around is that the staff would occasionally bring you the order regardless if you're dining in or taking it to go, a nice gesture by the staff. The two drinks were perfect on a super hot day, super refreshing and could definitely tell that the tea is freshly made, not too sweet with the right sugar adjustments, we usually default to 50% s

My daughter loves this store. But today, April 1 at 5pm, as I'm picking up her order of waffle and Thai teas, I have observed that the two young ladies tending the store are both wearing black gloves when making teas and waffles. I called them out for handling the food with the same gloves they wear when they wash the rugs and cleanup the tables. Gross!! Don't get me wrong, they have the best Thai teas and food, but please safety and cleanliness should not be compromised!

We loved stopping in after an afternoon in the gardens nearby. Had a refreshing boba on a hot day. You can even choose the level of sweetness and ice! They had a combo where you get a sandwich and a basic tea for free! Good pricing and great quality. We will be back!

One of the best dessert places that also has some food options. The bubble puffs are so delicious and not overly sweet. The portions are big so it is good for sharing. The ice cream was also very good. The interior is quite big and clean, and great for studying or chilling. Staff are very nice and friendly.
